Effecting change by
affecting change.

We don’t talk about race because we don’t know how to talk about race.

This is Hard.

We want to believe that changing laws and policies can solve this….we want to believe that a training on bias can solve this…we want to believe that reading books and liking posts can solve this…we want to believe that solving this is someone else’s responsibility…

The hard truth is that each of us bears the responsibility to recognize the role we play in supporting racism in order to dismantle it. This does not happen in a vacuum and it does not happen without active participation. This work happens when we work together through the discomfort, engage our courage and refuse to accept the status quo.

Let’s do well by doing good. This is the power of collective experience.

“Our differences are the most important thing we all have in common.”
